I was imprisoned due to the stealing case by my sponsor but the prosecutor dismissed it for no evidence. The last case was absconding which I was penalized for 1 month and 100rials. My last hearing was December 13 and it was the decision time but I was in jail for 3 months and was out only last January 1, 2018. How many years will be my ban and when it will be possible for me to go back to Oman? Will it affect if I go to Dubai?

Hi Amethyst11,

Usually, any expatriate who has served a prison sentence is barred permanently from coming back again into the Sultanate - for obvious reasons.

Unless your passport has been stamped adversely, you can try your luck with the other countries.
