Anytime Insurance do a limited version acceptable to immigration dept for about €165 - €185 per yr
other far more comprehensive policies are available at various levels
try searching facebook for status insurance as thats where we got ours
also abbeygate pacific, atlantic, top quotes, gan direct and pitsas all do health cover

of course if you work then your Social Contributions would cover you for state healthcare providing you can prove three years contributions - note contributions made in another EU state can be considered and can count towards this.
