Spanish teacher in Malaysia - work permit

Hi y'all!

In a few days I am moving to KL and I am thinking about working as a Spanish teacher there.  I have done some research and I already have talked to some schools to meet with them when I get there.

However I have some doubts about my work permit since I have read that spanish workers should be 27 years old in order to be eligible to work in Malaysia.  Is that applicable also in terms of language schools?  Because these institutions have seen my resume and I guees they know about my age.

Thank you!

The minimum age requirement has been relaxed but a degree plus teaching qualifictions and at least two years' experience are required.

I didn't know that.  I am 25 years old,  a double degree in law and business administration and a master degree in business consulting.  I have been working for almost 3 years in different consultancy firms in Spain and USA but I have also doingo teaching stuff as a hobby for many years mainly when I was abroad.

Can that be enough  for the work permit?

Thanks!

I think you will struggle to find a language teaching job with an employment pass in Malaysia, to be honest.
