Hi All,
I'm thinking of moving to KL in November with my partner and two children. My partner's job will be in Petaling Jaya and I am wondering about where we should live, as we want to send our school aged daughter to an international school (preferably one with Aus curriculum). Any thoughts about maximum distances that you would consider travelling between home/school/work?

PJ covers a huge area. You will need to be more specific.
The only schools with Australian curriculum are AIS - https://www.aism.edu.my/
and http://www.peninsula.edu.my/
Either may be possibility as PJ is accessible to both. Check on the school buses they run as well.
