Hi. We are Jay & Peggy Sheinfeld visiting LT for a month and thinking of staying longer next year. We like tennis, snorkeling, searching for interesting places nearby, We would like to meet some Americans living here to learn about their experiences. Would like to find an English speaking doctor and clinic just in case we need it. Also trying to receive streaming American TV. We can get Netflix most of the time but would like Amazon HBO SHO PBS streaming. Also looking for savvy computer person. May look for a rental condo with security close to beach for next year.
Anyone want to go to see the waterfall or boat ride from Los Haitieses to Playa Leventado?

If you visit One Love Surf Shack at the Pueblos de los Pescadores (Fisherman's Village), you will be able to meet some American Expats.

Jay welcome to the forum.
YOu will find American Expats in LT but more French. Actually French is almost a second language in LT and English a distant third 
Depending on your internet speed and the IP address you have with it you can stream using your fire stick (we do this for most of our TV). There is also pretty good Cable service depending on where you are.
