Price range for a single ticket from SGN to NT (31/12/2017) is 159k to 262k. Looks reasonable to me.
Most English sites are run by travel agencies.

Hotel was same price as norm. I think the train sqn1 is special. U get a water and blanket. More important it seems to have some kinda suspension so u don't always end up with ur ice n beer over u in the WTF canteen.
