Have you wondered?

Do any of you follow Wikipedia?

Ever noticed breaking news, of a birth, death of a famous person. The page is updated straight away, how?

Wikipedia entries are written, edited and updated by volunteers. (I am one of them, although not very active recently.)
Actually, anyone can edit, you too!
Apparently, for each of the quickly updated events or news you saw, there are contributors who care enough to update it immediately.
Great service (and free), we should thank them!
Actually, Wikipedia is entirely non-commercial and financed by donations. Please, if you like it, consider giving a few bucks for its upkeep and running costs.

When they know a celeb is likely to snuff it, they write the piece then it's ready to post the moment the news is released.
High risk celebs have updates to their obit written on a regular basis so when their 'unexpected' death happens, on goes the update.

I want to write my own wiki page, then get someone to post the inappropriate self written obit at the appropriate time.

Highway to hell will be playing in the background.

Apart from telling us about your vanity, this plan won't fly: Wikipedia entries are regularly reviewed and personal ones are only allowed about "people of public interest". I doubt that you belong to that group.

Wait until the world reads my memoirs but they'll have to wait until I'm old, feeble and dribbling so the authorities won't prosecute me.
Wiki will be screaming for a page all about me, probably a dozen.

^ confirms my first half-sentence

This is like a folk tale, accurate in the general idea of the story but not really the truth.
My long and seriously wild 'naughty' career with many girls was taken up by the gay community who also fancied me but, as I have yet to run out of ladies, I haven't got around to them yet.
They were going to name a 'long' drink such as a pint of beer after me as that seemed appropriate but 'cocktail' won the day.
