Sad to say I never bought any insurance that covers accidental injuries in Vietnam. Happy to say I never needed it. When in Thailand I did have a policy that cost about $150 usd for one year. Covered 100% of emergency and hospital care. Is there insurance available in vietnam to cover accident injuries?

yes, personal accident is a basic benefit which was covered by all most insurance plan.
If you just care about accident, not healthcare, it's just about $100 per year
