Raising kids in Tanzania

Hello everyone,

How is raising kids in Tanzania different from raising kids in your home country?

What are the activities that your kids seem to enjoy the most in Tanzania?

Do you feel that the country is "family-friendly"?

Do you recommend Tanzania as a good place to raise kids? Why or why not?

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Priscilla

Hello, I like to add you on as a friend, one I have a few question to ask you about living in Tanzania but I have heard some wonderful things about your country, I am coming to Tanzania but my next vacation will be in your country, Mauritian. I am from America. I hope I am not being rude to ask this of you.

Take very good care of yourself

Hi, Priscila,

Raising kids in Tanzania is not that much different than any other country in my experience. every thing is here good i have two kids one is 5 and other is 8 and both are more adaptive than us. the only thing is you need make sure they mix with every one and have good spontaneous time with other kids. thanks Mahmud

Yes, Off course,

I have joined this forum before i came to Arusha, Tanzania when I had so many questions about the place.

We took along our 3 months baby girl to Tanzania, she is 2.5 years now, for her this is her home country. We are enjoying life.

Its a beautiful country with beautiful people. Very friendly and warm.

I have made many friends here they are all honest.
