Cost of living in Barcelona, 40K Euros can I make it on that?

Hi,

I'm considering moving to Barcelona with my two children. The company i currently work for is offering 40K Euros a year to relocate. I'm in the process of negotiating. Would I make it there with that amount of money?

Hi Carmen,

I think that with 40k Euros a year (I assume itŽs gross, so tax will be deducted) and 2 kids it will not be easy - doable but hard. There should be posts on this forum with sample costs of living in BCN, so you can do your calculations, but thats my view living here myself with wife and 2 kids,
