Hi there,
You should contact the comune (city hall) of the town/ city where you are living. They all have Italian courses for foreigners. You only need to bring your permesso di soggiorno to register, they will test your level, and put you into a suitable class. Last year fee was 20€ including one student book. The course lasts about 3 months, then you have to do a test to finish the level.
