Was wondering if there is a way of getting a IDP from Barcelona (living here now) with my UK driving licence, as I am off to Sri Lanka in Dec.
Would I have to apply on line to RAC etc

You can get one from RACE, that is the automobile club de España
Or, If you google this you will get several possibilities come up
"international driving permit get it in Spain"
NB It is not a DL but only an authorised translation of your DL. So when driving you must have your original DL plus the permit
