Sneha here.i would like to get some advice about how to proceed to get registered to the Prefecture.
My husband and I landed in Montpellier yesterday.
As we intended to stay longer than 3 months here,I would like to know what we should do.
I am a non eu and my husband is an eu citizen.
Do we have to notify the gendarmes of our stay from the first day itself.
We already have a proof of address.
Thank you everyone for your help.

Go to the préfecture and ask them what you should do. In advance, you can look at their website for an EU citizen and spouse visa requirements http://www.herault.gouv.fr
