thinking of moving to antigua to set up a clinic,american traine and board certified.Will be scary to just move and show up with no real plans , any idea about the licencing process and employment .I have been all through the islands ,love tortola but pretty much closed to outsiders to work there....

Hi, I personally think it is a great idea but have no info on what you might need in terms of licensing, approvals etc. I just read in the paper that a local dr. here just opened up an after hours clinic which is something they really need here. Have you thought about contacting a local dr. for some info and or advice?

thanks for the info i have sent i n all the documents to the minister of health 4 wks ago but have not recieved any response.it is my understanding that most of the physcians who work there are from cuba is that true?
