hi team
i'm british and married to a brazilian and living in uk , if i apply for a residence visa for Brazil what is the time frame for going to brazil after receiving my visa and do i have to stay in brazil for a set amount of time or can i spend my time in either uk or brazil during say the first two years?

I know you will have 30 days to go to the Federal police after you arrive in Brazil. I am not sure how long you have before you travel. The embassy will be able to tell you. After receiving it you can remain out of Brazil a max of 2 years without losing it.
