I just wonder why the hiring process is slow (part time or full time). Surely one doesn't have to take a month or 2 to know that someone is fit for the job? Just asking tho.

For what? It depends on what role you're referring to, however if its taken 2 months for you to hear about a role, one would think that you probably haven't got it...

Teaching job or any other job be it part time or full time. I know I should've just aasume that a person did not meet the requirement needed for the said job but the thing is they will respond to you a week after you send your cv to them to acknowledge that they have received your application. Another a week or 2 for the exam and another 2 weeks for the results so on and so forth
