Finding a job from abroad

Hi,

I am really interested in moving in Ireland (love the country and the people), but I am trying to find a job for some time now and it's not successful. It seems that people are hesitant to hire or even interview people that are not currently based in Ireland. Especially for high profile managerial positions. I am pretty experienced IT professional (about 10 years) and I am currently working as Delivery manager, so also the jobs for me are not that abundant either. I am EU national, so no visa is required.

Any tips are appreciated.

Job is no problem... there are plenty, housing is the problem!
Many companies even pay for relocation if they are interested. They probably will as they are desperate for workers.
But be aware of lack of housing and/or crazy rents. Good luck!
