Can Tho, Can Tho

Are there any international schools in Can Tho for our children (7 & 9 years)?
Or any English schools where they can learn English?
Are there any other expat children in Can Tho or should we opt for HCMC?

Nobody? I found Pacific College, but believe this is mainly for local / regional children. However I assume they do offer some English classes / curriculum. Would it be possible to follow some classes only (at least to learn English...potentially meet some friends)?

But more importantly - is Can Tho a nice / liveable city for western children? (only for 2 to 3 months btw)... are there any other children that speak a western language / English? (they will not be able to learn Vietnamese in such a short time)

Hi MariaT12, yes Pacific College is an international school and I believe there is another one, but Pacific is allegedly the one. Since you are going to be there for a few months, it should be fine.

Also, Can Tho is a nice / liveable city for westerners. We prefer it over Saigon anyday, but it depends on your interest. If you want the New York City life, then Saigon would be the right choice. If you want more of a midwestern city, Can Tho would be a good choice.
