Please Help - Elementary Schooling and Tuition in Miami

I know this is a little specific but we are really struggling to find any solid advice. We are moving in December to Miami for a year, maybe 18 months, and really need some help and guidance on schooling (and maybe private tuition) for our 8 year old daughter. As she will dip into the USA schooling system and then return in year 5/6 to British schooling, it is imperative that we keep her aligned. Can anyone please help?

Thank you in advance,

Ian and Natalie.

You cannot find a solid advice on private tuition in Miami because there isn't a specific amount charged by every school.

There are hundreds of private schools in Miami area.  Tuition for your daughter's grade can be as varied as $10K (Epiphany Catholic, Florida Christian),  $14K (Westminster Christian),  $19K (Hebrew Academy),  $20K (St. Stephen's Episcopal),  $26K (Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart  -- all girls),  $27K (Miami Coutry Day), etc.

There are also excellent public schools where tuition is free.  For instance, FL State University Charter Elementary School in Pembroke Pines is an excellent school (not to be confused with City of Pembroke Pines Charter School, even though it's also a very good school.)
