Why do you want to learn to speak Afrikaans? I am and I know a few people here. Please let me more some more info about yourself etc before i see if i can help you...

yes! to make the story short, my boyfriend is South African currently living in Cape Town from where I just came back after living there almost two years. When I first got there I was all excited to learn Afrikaans and my bfriend tried to teach me some but it ended up in nothing. I understand a little bit, very little.
There is no place where they teach afrikaans...here in BA you can learn almost anything (arabic, chinese....) but not Afrikaans.
