Immigration Process Query

Are you going to work from Johar & will visit Singapore for work related or will work in Singapore but only visit Johar time to time for work related?

For case 1, your employer need to obtain work permit from Malaysian Immigration department (pls note you must be 27 yrs to eligible work in Malaysia, for IT sector, its 23 yrs). Then, your employer can apply visit pass for Singapore office visit.

For case 2, you need to obtain Singapore work pass from MoM and get Malaysia visit pass from the Malaysian embassy in Singapore.

If you will work from home country but will visit regularly to Johar then can obtain professional visit pass.

So that i can save up to 5k RM per month and accommodation/ tranportation provided by the employer.
