Hi I am a British citizen, I plan to retire in Malaysia. I would like to know the choicest places to live and costs incurred etc. Any tips, and help will be appreciated. Pitfalls if any etc.

I am not sure yet. My wife is from Singapore but Malaysia is a big country, lots to do, places to see etc. What about Penang or Melaka?

Penang would be better with a bit of everything. lots of expats there as well.
