Hi,

I got a job offer to work in Oslo for a transportation company as Business Controller and we are in the salary negotiation part.

Now I am living in France and have an idea of the salary expection I should have to live good in Oslo, but I would need your help on this please.

I am planning to ask between 23,000 and 27,000 NOK per month net.

Is this reasonable? How much is this in gross?

I want to live in Oslo downtown in a 1 bedroom + livingroom flat, no car, no kids, no wife.

Other info:
I have 7 years experience in Finace and a MBA.

Hey,

27 000 net makes 48 000 gross per month, i.e.; 570K per year. This ahould be in line with the position and the number of year of experience you have.t.

It also depends which kind of side benefits you will be offered, for example if you get a company car, you can count something like 6K NOK per month as the value for this benefit.
