Hello all

I am completely new to this so please bear with me.
I have been reading other posts on here but not really found my answers.

I might be getting a high level job in Oman with family status but what I want to know is, will it be possible for my family to come across with me immediately from South Africa or will I have to come across first?

South Africa is on the designated list of countries from which people can apply for a Visa on arrival so I'm wondering if it will be possible for my family to come in on a visit Visa with me at the same time and then convert it to a residency Visa whilst here?

Hi AndrePrevin,

By all means, your family can come along with you.

Usually, the family status will be confirmed only after confirming the employee's services, i.e., after the probation period has been successfully completed.

Also, depenidng on the circumstances, an internal visa transfer can be enabled. Though officially it is disallowed.
