Hi all i would like to know that i wanna go to dubai for job hunt and i am currently working in Oman, someone told me that if you will visit dubai then you will not be able to convert your visit visa to residence visa because your Oman visa in you passport is still valid for 6 months so after 6 months once your visa will get cancelled then only you are eligible to get job in dubai. Can anyone clarify regarding this?

Bro you could get UAE employment visa even if your Omani residence visa is valid for any period. But if you do not cancel your Omani Residence Visa and do not enter Oman for more than 6 moths then the visa will expire and an automatic ban of 2 years will apply to you.
