I'm in too. If enough people show up, we could rent a pitch at ZSC.

yeah i was thinking that too but we would need enough ppl to show up which is where the problem lies maybe if we start off with a few ppl as just a kick around and then see if your friends can come then maybe they have friends and we can start looking at getting a large enough group together to play games!!!!!

I guess this'll help you. There's this organisation called Duplays that arranges friendly leagues. Once a week at ZSC. Decently competitive even in the recreational division, It'd cost you about 500 AED, but it runs through three months, and if I remember correctly, a new one's starting end of this month. Give it a try if you're still looking around, it's good fun. I would've too, but I'm out of this place by then.

I am visiting Abu Dhabi early June 2011 and wandered if you lot are still playing and if so, could I join in for one or two games please? I arrive on Wed 1st June and leave Saturday 11th June (with two night stay in Dubai on the Mon & Tues). Well Jerry I don't have a team, but there is a group of us who would like to start playing every week, but the problem is getting enough players, so if your interested get some players together, and we can join together and play every week.

Well mate so far I have a group of 7 and we need more people to join us so that we can play once a week. I don't want to book the pitch and then no one turns up. So you are more than welcome to join us, and if you can find anyone else to also play then that would help a lot.

Sorry for the extremely late response. Well as many players as we can get. Ideally no less than 10 people so we can do 5 a side. The idea is to eventually have enough players to be able to do 7 a side, 8 a side, 11 a side.
