Hello
i have been living in Oman with my family for last couple of years. Recently i switched the job and got my Residence Card from new company ... My wife visa (issued from my previous company) is expired one month ago ...... My new company is processing her visa now ........ is it mandatory for her to get EXIT from Oman for new visa endorsement (her previous company visa is already expired) ?????
Is family visa cancellation necessary in case of joining new company?

Hi Agha Shahid,
From our post, it appears as though your spouse is currently staying in Oman, without any valid papers.
If that is indeed true, then she is an 'overstayer' which attracts some penalties.
Internal dependent visa transfers are possible if both the sponsors have no issues.

Dear Mr. Agha,
Your new employer has to pay for her overstay (RO.10/month) and also she has to exit for a new visa.
