Hi
I am Egyptian so Arabic is my mother tongue. I was raised in a British School and now my childern are making fun of my British accent. I wonder if I can meet some American fellows here in Nairobi in order to improve my American accent in get even with my kids hahahahah. I am not looking for lessons, just hanging out and have a conversation.

Howdy! Maybe you should check out the Internations group with American expats. InshaAllah you'll find a good group of friends.

I will keep my thoughts about the 'Americanisation' of the planet to myself!

But why don't you watch US TV shows? For example, DSTV have lots of American TV shows, drama's etc.
