Best area in OC to live in for families

Hi Guys

We are coming out to Califorina to look at private schools for our four year old in April but are unsure of best area to live in Orange County. Originally was looking at the Laguna Beach area but am limited on the school choice.

We would like to be near the coast and live in a area thats good for families. Any advice would be much appreciated! :)

Thanks x

Hi!

You have Newport Beach, Irvine, Hungtington Beach witch are good area for family.
Laguna Beach too :)

Thanks Jess

We are looking forward to coming to US in April to view schools. Unfortunatley we are limited as the schools have to be SEVIS approved for student visa purposes and the ones we really like in the areas you mentioned are not approved. We may have to widen our search :)

Thanks for your reply

HI Kelly, I agree with Jess on the locations that are good in OC. It also depends on where your work is and where to live because traffic IS BADDDDD! On the infamous 405 freeway, it takes 45min or more just to get between two points that are only 10 miles apart!
Also, some schools only allow kids whose family lives in its district. Check into that. Another nice area is Tustin area and Alton Parkway near a shopping area called Irvine Spectrum. Manhattan Beach is nice and Hermosa Beach is very nice and they are next door to the OC beaches. Any chance you have to avoid the 405 freeway and you'll be ok.
