Oman - Process for buying and selling used car

Hello,

I am in Muscat, Oman. Currently have a rental vehicle but I am looking to buy. I have residence permit so no issue there.

Can anyone advise the procedure of buying and selling a used car.

What are the steps required?
Is the insurance also transferred?
Easy to do for English only speaker?
To purchase do I need to convert my UK licence to Oman? Currently on full UK licence with international permit.
Any other good websites other than OLX.

I found some great vehicles on OLX.
I am just worried that as an English speaker that doing a  private purchase and then sale afterwards could be quite difficult.

I am hoping someone can clarify the process for me.
