Hi all,

I'm interested in Finland and Norway. I'm a Master of Laws, my speciality is environmental protection. My grades are not so high cause my educational system was much different than it's today. At that time I wasn't interested in research, so my professors didn't care for my grades. We used to get average grades if we are not going to be PhDs/university staff. After some years I became very interested in scientific research, especially with environment.

Well, I was informed that I need to contact professors and universities directly and offer my research project and it would be enough and my grades are not that important as it is stated in vacancies and calls for scholarships and similar.

What is your experience? Which country is better? What would you suggest to me?
