Average salary for CT/X-Ray Technologist in Qatar?

Sidra is growing organization and pays well.
Consultants has salary varying from 50,000 QAR upto 120,000 QAR.
Specialists are getting 35,000 QAR upto 60,000 QAR.

So based on your offered position you can make out now.

I just received an email saying my current salary exceeds what they can offer me. It's a bit disappointing, I thought they offered Americans more

You can give it a try if they will offer you house, schooling for your children, yearly tickets back home, plus other allowances. While implementing tax is on the way, you can still get 100% of your basic + allowances as of this day, which is something to consider. Well, only if the difference is not that significant.

I am working in a similar field (electron microscopy) and normally they will show you the basic salary but with out the benefits. I suggest to ask for the offer and check all the allowances like home allowance, children education, one ticket for the family per year ... etc.
Sidra salaries considered to be one of the good ones and you will have some other benefits that you wont normally have in any other place (no taxes, relaxed life style, opportunity to use state of the art systems)  so you really have to look a bit deeper in to it.
