Hi Sir
I am currently working in Oman and have requested time off for 3 weeks holidays so I can take my family back to the UK. However I was informed that I have to include the weekends as part of my holiday entitlement and that Eid Al Fitr 26-29th will also be included as part of my entitlement as it lands between the weeks I have ask asked for . Since the company I work for is closed over that period I didn't think it would be an issue or be forced to take it as statutory holidays . Would be grateful for any advice please .

As per labour law, Statutory holiday falling in between of personnal leave has to be counted.
