Dear respected members ;

I am an engineer.I exit Oman on 02 Nov 2015 after resigning my job.My 2 years contract with my employer also already expired in Jan 2017.

I understand that i can not work in Oman without NOC again before 02 Nov 2017 ie after i complete 2 years visa ban period

I have an offer in Oman at hand and am supposed to join on 01 June 2017.

Since only 05 Months are balance for ban can i come to Oman on business visa / Tourist / other form of visa for 05 months and subsequently apply for employment visa after 02 Nov 2017 ?

Your advice is highly appreceiated in this time of Joblessness.

Hi ersanjeev45,

If your new employer can wield some clout with the concerned authorities, then you may be able to come back to the Sultanate - without the NOC - before the completion of 2 years from the date of your last departure.
