Hi admin/mod

Is there any way I can set up my account so that people can't add me as a contact?

I mean expat.com isn't like Facebook, no one gets my updates after they add me as a contact.
Adding contact has no use except to just have a list.

If someone wants to say something to me, they can send me a message,
adding as a contact isn't necessary.

And from time to time I have people want to ask me as a contact,
without a clear message and are people I don't know.

So how to make "Add to contacts" button doesn't appear on my profile?

Hı Khuyen,

Click on your profile picture to release the menu bar.
Click Privacy.
Under the section ELECT PRIVACY SETTINGS AND TOOLS FOR THE FORUM, unselected the option for contact requests.

I agree totally with you.
You can change the settings to your liking by going to your profile, sub privacy and go to messages.

No one can add you to a contact list unless YOU accept the request.

If someone is bothering you by asking several times or sending you unwanted messages, you can block that member and report that person by clicking on the report button.
The moderators will take appropriate action.
