I'm currently living in Qatar my husband has just been posted to Maldives we are trying to find out about British schools criculum.

We also need any information about family life for a British family 😬 Living acomadation visas working. I am a pre school teacher in Qatar and would want to work in Maldives like I am here.

Maldives is a 100 percent Muslim country. Living would be pretty similar to other arab countries. You cannot drink in public places and cannot find pork or alcohol on inhabited islands. You have to go to a resort if you wanna have a drink. We do have lots of expats working in the Maldives and so far its very safe.

The education system in the maldives is improving day by day. We have public schools and private schools as well as few international schools. The curriculum is based on Cambridge International exams for the secondary schools. And for the higher secondary schools its Edexel International exams.
