Spain-USA-Russia

I'm a Spaniard currently living in New York, looking for some information about life in Moscow.
Any suggestion will be appreciated!

Welcome on Expat.com andresita ;)

Your discussion has been redirected to Moscow forum for effective networking. Your question is a bit too vague, can you please narrow it down to a more precise way so that we can help you. Are you seeking general info like: Cost of livings, Places to visit?

I was more interested about schools for kids, specifically school number 110, Spanish-Russian school.
And I would also appreciate information about visas, which one will be better for a 3-4 month stay with the purpose of practice Russian.

Andresita,

Here is a map:  http://www.wikimapia.org/4235498/School … in-Spanish

I am not the best at Russian Visas.  But, I understand that once you have an "invitation" the rest is pretty easy.

I am amazed at studying Russian in Spanish.  That would be AWESOME!  I can ask my friend(s) from Moscow if you have specific questions.

The school almost seems to be a standard international school for children of expatriates and diplomats.  I say seems, because I think this page says they started the school in the 1940's with a 200 year history.

And that page seems to be the school's home page.

Let me know what they tell you.

That is a normal Russian school that happens to have Spanish as an optional language.
In previous times this would have been a superior school, and the language element would have been quite intense, producing fluent speakers. Nowadays with these schools, the children get a decent knowledge of the language, but nothing more.

The daily language of the school is Russian, by the way. This is not an international or Spanish school.

Yes, I know the teaching is in Russian. They have picked a different Russian school.
Thanks for answering!
