the heading is because just wanted an update on the cost of living in 2017.if it has not changed much from the umpteen posts we had about it,then please don't bother.if not,would love to hear about it.thanks in advance guys.

It won't get any better, VAT is just the tip of the iceberg, once the authorities get their snout in that trough, it will all be downhill from there
