First requirement is to see if you qualify for a visa or work permit www.immi.gov.au this site has all the information you need.
There is a skills list there that the govt are looking to fill. However the govt is now tightening up on applications and has cut 200 jobs off the skills list.
No need for an agent as they will charge you lots of money even if you do not get a visa.
