^Does anyone have experience of this? Its just a standard Agribank debit card account, or my gf has a slightly better account that can be used on-line.
It will be sent from a normal high-street UK / VISA account.
I really like the idea of not getting stiffed by Western Union/ Bank/ ATM charges.
Otherwise I don't think its possible to use the paypal way to a VN account is it?
Send money via Google wallet/gmail to my VN bank acc Agribank ?

I had to open a VN Paypal account here in Vietnam shortly after I arrived.
I now have a VN PayPal account linked to my VN bank account and a US Paypal account linked to my US bank account.
They will hit you with charges, of course, but not anywhere near as bad as the Western Union.
