Hello everyone.
I am Julien and I'm in western North Carolina. I have been researching the Expat life in DR for a few months. I have my eyes on the Las Terrenas area , but I might be interested in an area inland , a little higher in elevation to mitigate to heat, humidity and perhaps the mosquitoes, LOL. I am having difficulty convincing my girlfriend to give the Expat life more than lip service to my suggestions.
I have not been to the DR, but I have done some research. I expect to make an exploratory visit within the next year (about 30 day stay). I want to do more research, and I am not quite ready to retire at this time.
