I was married to a Russian and we adopted my Russian daughter who lives in CR with me. She was nine when she left St. Petersburg and unfortunately has forgotten much of her Russian language. I've tried to encourage her to study again so that she can communicate more with her family and not lose her heritage. We've only run into Russians here a few times in eight years.
