I have lived in the Philippines since the year 2009.
Most of the time I have spent in Manila but now I have been two years in Cebu City.

I am from Finland and 37 years old.

I'm from the US and like you, I've been here a long time; Over 14 years now. There are expats everywhere to make friends with but for business ventures your best bet would probably be in the the Angeles City area and even better than that would be over in the Subic Bay area. For ownership or even as a manager bars, restaurants, hotels, beach resorts, dive centers. The list is almost endless in the Subic area.
