Australians in Chile.

Hi all,

Ive just signed up here so I apologise if this topic has been covered previously.

Im specifically aiming this at Australians that have relocated to Chile but ill accept all information.

The main thing i want to know is basically....whats the easiest way to move there, gain temporary and eventually permanent residency? Can I arrive on a tourist visa and then just simply apply for temp residency? Can i apply for temp residency if i go on a working holiday? Its quite hard to find correct and current info on the web as it changes each site i go to.

I have no ties to Chile and no job offer. All i have is the absolute deadset willingness to get out of Sydney and enjoy a better qaulity of life.
