Hi Everyone! Just joined this site.

And am from Canada but want to live abroad part time and am considering Hoduras as a possible destination.

How are the schools out there for the kids? How easy or difficult is it to get a citizenship of Honduras? Any help or tips appreciated!

There are a few good choices for bilingual shcools in La Ceiba.

Hi,

I am considering living in honduras from canada and perhaps work part time or even possible doing some kind of offshore investments etc.  however, can anyone share some insight on what sort of jobs would be avail, along with any special visa requirements? I would like to be close to the beach as well, but not sure of which areas would be safest??  so any info would be awesome!

thanks

Hi cloudmondays!

I would suggest you to start a new thread on the Honduras forum for better visibility!

thanks for the tip!

La Ceiba would be the place to be if you like to be on the beach with good infrastructure. There are a few good bilingual schools here too.
There's alot to do here including rafting, hiking, fishing, nighlife and of coarse.... lots of shopping.
