My friend in Puerto Plata lost her home to fire this morning. I have seen the pictures and it is her home in flames.
Her son and mother are in the hospital with burns but both should be okay.
The family lost everything but the cloths they were wearing.
I would like to ask the folks on this forum what should I do or who should I contact to get them some help.

So sorry to hear this. We dont really have assistance, organized assistance. Community comes together here.
I am sure the neighbors and friends are helping as they can. Everything here is stretched thin due to another recent issue with flooding.
