Medical Insurance of dependent for Iqama renewal.

Assalamualaikum,

Husband(sponsor) has Bupa Medical Insurance, since he does not have family status his company disagrees to issue medical insurance to wife even tho they agree to pay all the expenses what should there next step be, since there Iqama's are about to expire on 5th April 2017 and they are not able to buy an insurance policy from outside because of the change in the rule by CCHI.
Is sending wife on final exit the only way to do so.

Walaikumsalam...if he has no family status then how come he got family visa ?try to talk to company HR

As per the new regulations of CCHI, the individual insurance has been eliminated. Meaning: no one will be able to buy any person's insurance in future.

However, sponsors and employers can buy policies for persons including them in their bundle. This loops back to discussion with your husband's employer's HR.
