I did not change much in Turkmenistan because I lived there only for one year. However I think Turkmenistan is a Muslim country and I also belong to a Muslim country, Pakistan, so I did not felt much difference in culture. Since Turkmenistan was part of previous USSR since 1925 to 1991, the Turkmenistan has some traces of Russian and European culture. It is little bit open than a usual Muslim country.
