About six months ago, Brandon posted about Alan Gongora's law firm, saying he thought Alan would probably be able to answer a legal question for an Expat .. without charge.

I contacted Alan and he did assist me gratis, passing on an accountant's legal opinion about my possible tax liability in Colombia if I became a tax resident.

Since then, I have hired Alan and Langon Law (of Medellín and New York City) to handle two legal projects on my behalf .. and the firm has been doing a stellar job.

Alan is a graduate of Harvard Law (2003) and is completely bi-lingual.

In my experience, he is exceptionally prompt in responding to client emails and needs.  His legal knowledge is broad and he communicates clearly.

Langon's chief paralegal, Marta, is also exceptional in these regards.

I recommend Langon without reservation for English-speaking Expats and others.

Thumbs up to Brandon for recommending Langon Law Group. :top:

I was certainly impressed by him. He seems like a standup fellow. He was very attentive to my emails and replied quickly.

I'm glad you hooked up with him and can vouch for his legal services.

I've had great luck with JDG Law Advisors. They work with a lot of westerners and specialize in moving to and investing in Colombia.

Really great firm.
