Hi , I'm Ajmeer I'm from Sri Lanka  more than 10000 QR

nice subject,, but each point of it can be sub subject,,
if we can manage to upload excel file and categories those questions on 3 levels, cheap, moderated , expensive, it will be useful .

housing,
studios from 3000 up to 9000
1 bedroom from 3000 up to 10000
2 bedroom 5000 up to 12000
3 bedrooms 7000 up to 14000
standalone villas from 9000 up to 50000

Utilities  (electricity/gas/water)
most of accommodation contracts include the utility within rental value or monthly payment, only in some cheap accommodations the utilities are exclusive
studio/ 1 bedroom 400-600 Qar
2 bedroom 600-800
3 bedroom 800 - 1200
villas 1500 - 3000

Communications (Internet/phone)
like utilities some accommodations provide internet inclusive,
but if you dont have it, u have many options,

Internet
land line with 10 M speed 250
land line with 20 M speed 350
6 Giga mobile package 100

Mobile,
i would not go for prepaid although it has many offers (still more expensive the postpaid) , i would go for postpaid offer the most common 250 include(3 Giga data, unlimited calls, 100 international )

and if your company has a high profile in the country like QGas or QP or Gov sector, or even you have a good bank account in QNB, you can get better much better offers

grocery weekly budget depends on your life style (family of 3 )
500 if you buy what you need..
2000 if shopping and malls is your hobby
some items  bought once a month or twice like cleaning items would have a budget from 500 - 1000 )

public transport
i dont know much about it, except taxi and uber, and its more expensive than renting a car, i guess car rental starts from 85-250 depends on model and brand, (luxury cars can reach more than that)
monthly rates also better (1800- 2300 for economical cars)
the value to rent a car is the same to buy a car as a bank installment, and for some cars its cheaper to pay for installments

cars price
little bit higher than UAE with 5% and higher than Oman with 10%

Car Agencies
same as cars, higher than region agencies with little less services

sometimes cars have the same price specially if it is the current model (VW Gold 2017 80-83 thousand) but the provided services is different   .. in UAE much better

fuel price
its 1.6/L ,, 50 litter car would cost 80 Qr - 90 depends on monthly prices, and its still cheap

Medical Care,,
if you are insured you will poay 25 Qar Only if you are not insured depends on the physician you are visiting (100- 250) and specialist 250 - 600

dental
expensive if you are not insured
i did 1 mill crown 1200 qar

lunch pack (per 1 person)
junk food like Mac and Hardees pizza 20 - 50
yamani house 35-50
moderated restaurants (chilies, apple-pees, nandos,romman, damasca, royal tandori ) 80 - 120
Oriental (saha, haret jdoodna ) 150 -200

coffee
i prefer caribou american 12 qar
same shot ib moka arabia  20 Qar

cinema ticket
almost same every where
45 regular
75 3D
150 7 stars seat

schooling

beside accommodation, schooling is the highest and most worrying expenses

regular schools (belongs the to citizenship)
8-12 thousand
intermediate schools (like chweifat and manar ) 18 - 23
med high like newton 23-35
high like finish 45
extreme high like jems and compas 75-90

and last
gyms

i dont recommend it at all,, try to eat and get fat its better than burning fat ,,
i didnt pay all previous expenses to put fat in my belly to pay more money to burn the fat :)
